The Cinematheque Reviews: Killer Elite

I don't want to say that Killer Elite, the first film from Gary McKendry, and a supposed bang bang action flick starring Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Bobby De Niro, is a bad movie - because it's not, really - but it certainly is rather a mediocre kind of action flick - all things considered.  My review of this rather mediocre kind of action flick is now up and running over at The Cinematheque.  I have nothing more to say I suppose, as they say, go on over and check it out.

It's an uneven mix, though it still delivers in fits and starts. However, I just wish they did more with the opportunities of they had of having De Niro, Owen, and Statham in the same film. Nice review Kevyn. Check out mine when you can.

You are right - it delivers in fits and starts (I like that wording).

Seeing as how horrible action movies have become I'll take mediocre any day of the week, as song as you can see what is going on.

Damn fine statement Mike. Yes, at least the camera doesn't shake, rattle and roll all over the place.
