This is one of a series of flood-delayed reviews coming your way a week or so late. For an explanation of what the Hell that even means, read this.
Terror in the water. Terror in outer space. Sounds like a pretty good double feature, right? Too bad neither the water-logged Shark Night 3D nor the space-lagged Apollo 18 have any terror in them to speak of. A pair of potentially satisfying, albeit in the campiest of ways, but ultimately disappointing, in the blandest of ways, movies I have not seen in back-to-back sittings in quite a good while. Here's to hoping we keep it that way. Nevertheless, my reviews of these two sad sack movies are up and running over at The Cinematheque. My review of the three-dimensional shark movie can be read HERE. My review of the two-dimensional moon monster movie can be read HERE. Que sera, sera.
